Check pasted text for common grammar and punctuation mistakes, see each issue highlighted, and copy a corrected version.

Honest limits: This checker catches common mistakes only — it does not check every possible error, and a few rules have exceptions (for example, "had had" can be correct). A clean result is not a guarantee of perfect grammar. Review each suggestion before accepting it.

How to use the AI Grammar Checker

    1. Paste your text into the box — an email, an essay, or a social post.
    2. Click Check Grammar.
    3. Read the highlighted version to see each issue in context.
    4. Read the list of corrections and the corrected text below it.
    5. Copy the corrected text, and fix anything the checker missed by hand.

    About this tool

Most everyday grammar mistakes fall into a few patterns, and this checker looks for exactly those: repeated words ("the the"), confused pairs (your/you're, its/it's, their/there/they're), subject-verb slips ("he go" instead of "he goes"), a/an mistakes, and spacing errors around punctuation. Each issue is highlighted in your text and explained in plain words.

It does not check spelling beyond these patterns, and it does not understand meaning — so a sentence can be grammatically fine and still unclear. For important writing, a final read-through by a person is still the best check.

Worked example: Input: "their are two dogs. he go to school. your welcome. its going to rain. this is is a test ." The checker finds 7 issues and produces: "There are two dogs. He goes to school. You're welcome. It's going to rain. This is a test." — fixing their/there, subject-verb agreement, your/you're, its/it's, the repeated word, and the space before the period, plus sentence capitals.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What mistakes does it check?

Repeated words, your/you're, its/it's, their/there/they're, subject-verb agreement (he go, they goes), a/an errors, spacing before punctuation, missing spaces after punctuation, double spaces, repeated punctuation, and sentence capitalization.

    Does it check spelling?

Only indirectly. It does not have a dictionary, so a misspelled word that is not one of its patterns will not be flagged. Use your device's spell checker alongside it for spelling.

Why did it flag something that is correct?

A few rules have exceptions — for example, 'had had' is correct in 'I had had enough.' Review each suggestion and ignore the ones that do not apply.

    Is my text stored anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your pasted text is never uploaded to or stored on our servers.

Can I use it for exams or job applications?

Yes, as a first check — but for anything important, read the corrected text yourself afterwards. No automated checker replaces a careful human read.
